NATIONAL HBCU AUXILIARY AND DANCE DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE / EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETINGS

Held in conjunction with the HBCU National Band and Orchestra Directors Consortium (www.hbcu-nbdc.org) Exposure to more than 200 HBCU and high school Band Directors, honorees and staff, as well as over 500 HBCU musicians
Trailblazer Honorees recognized Invited clinicians and special guests
Executive board meeting along with conference presentations, workshops, meetings and other activities
All-Star performer recognitions and performances
Networking opportunities for directors and student performers
Leadership workshops for student performers
Network with sponsors, exhibitors and vendors
Held in the Spring.

A competition for HBCU Dance Lines, Color Guards, Majorettes (baton twirlers), and high school teams that perform the HBCU style
Various categories of competition so that all types of HBCU teams may compete
Competitive team performers, their families and friends will be in attendance
Spectators from the community will be in attendance

Attendees include current and future directors/coaches on every level (HBCU, high school and community team).
Attend certification workshops on subjects pertinent to HBCU performance team coaching: Skills, choreography, dance/flag/baton terminology Coaching requirements Leadership and Communication styles Nutrition/First Aid for performers Social Media And much more....
After initial certification attendees may keep certification current with continuing education
